Hey guys! Let me tell you about my typical morning. It is always crazy and funny.
Every day, my mom leaves little notes for me around the house. She wants to help me remember things. But sometimes, her notes are just... a lot!
Yesterday, I woke up late. My alarm clock screamed: "Wake up!" I jumped out of bed like a superhero. Then I went to the kitchen to find breakfast. On the fridge, there was a big note from my mom:
"Buy more milk. We have zero. ZERO!"
Okay, okay, mom. I will buy milk.
I opened the fridge to see if we had eggs. On the second shelf, another note:
"If you keep good food in your fridge, good food you will eat. Stop eating only pizza!"
Ha ha, very funny, mom.
Then I went to the bathroom. On the mirror, a pink post-it:
"Don't forget to smile!”
Okay, I smiled. I looked like a happy monkey.
I went to my bedroom to get dressed. On my bed, another note:
"Make your beds. Both of you. Yes, you and your brother!"
Ugh. Fine.
I went to the living room. My dog, Rex, was looking at me with sad eyes. Next to him, a note on the wall:
"Walk the dog. He is judging you."
Rex was definitely judging me. Sorry, Rex!
Before leaving for school, I checked my phone. A message from mom:
"Call mom. I miss your voice. And buy the milk!"
I laughed. Then I saw another message from my sister. She sent me a photo of our refrigerator. On it, a new note:
"Want today's Wi-Fi password? It is: ILoveMom2025"
Of course! Mom is the queen of the house.
Finally, when I opened the front door to leave, a last note fell from the doorframe:
"Don't forget… you are awesome! Have a great day!"
You know what? I love my mom. Her notes are silly, but they make me smile. And yes, I bought the milk.
