A busy routine

 

Hello! My name is Lucas. I live in Sydney, but my parents live in Maranhão. They love the warm weather there. My father is an architect who designs beautiful houses, and my mother teaches mathematics to high school students. They both love their jobs very much.

Today, I have a lot of things to do here in the city. I need to be energetic, so I drink coffee many times a day. Right now, I am walking to a big building downtown. My uncle João works with Mr. Green in that place. Their office is on the fifth floor, and they always do a great job together. My father actually helped them design the interior of that workspace!

Before I enter the building, I see my friend Clara on the street. She looks tired, so I look at her and say: "Smile! It is a beautiful morning!"

She laughs and says, "Thank you, Lucas. Don't forget to call me tonight."

"I won't," I answer. Then, I open the door and prepare to start my busy routine again.

La película "Coco" es maravillosa y muy emocionante. Me gusta mucho porque muestra tradiciones importantes de la cultura mexicana, como el Día de los Muertos. En España también celebramos a los seres queridos que ya no están, aunque de forma diferente, por ejemplo con flores y recuerdos. "Coco" nos enseña que recordar a nuestra familia es algo muy bonito y necesario.

Otro aspecto interesante es la música en la película. El protagonista, Miguel, sueña con ser músico como su ídolo, Ernesto de la Cruz. Pero la música debe ser auténtica, es decir, debe venir del corazón y no solo para ser famoso. En el arte, como en la música española del flamenco o la guitarra, lo más importante es sentir lo que tocas y respetar tus raíces. "Coco" nos muestra que copiar o robar canciones no es correcto, y que la verdadera arte es personal y honesta.

Finalmente, "Coco" es un ejemplo de autenticidad porque Miguel aprende a tocar la guitarra con amor y a honrar a su verdadera familia. La película dice que no importa si no eres perfecto, lo importante es ser tú mismo y expresar tus sentimientos. Por eso recomiendo "Coco" a todos: es divertida, colorida y nos da una gran lección sobre la familia, la cultura y el arte verdadero.

A dream of change

 

Leo is a young boy who lives in a big, crowded city. He does not have much money, but he has a great passion: he likes to read classic books. Today, he is reading Oliver Twist.

There is a small window in his room. Through it, Leo can see the beautiful blue sky. Sometimes, when the city is noisy, he prefers to listen to the sound of the wind. It brings him a feeling of peace.

As Leo reads the book, he begins to think about Oliver’s life. In the story, there are many poor people and children who do not have good shoes to wear or a warm place to sleep. He feels sad when Oliver asks for more food because the boy is so hungry. Leo can feel the emotion in every page. He decides to write his thoughts in a small notebook to remember how important it is to help others.

Later that night, Leo watches a movie adaptation of the story. He looks at the television and begins to dream about the future. He wants to do something good for the world. He believes that a simple act of kindness can change a person's life completely.

 

 

The day my phone, the bus, and the Internet all betrayed me

I began my day with a cup of coffee and my phone. I had a video call with my teacher this morning, but my phone battery ran out during an important call. Then, I ran to catch the bus, but it left without me.

The rain began while I was walking to the bus stop, so I got completely wet. When I finally arrived home, we had no internet for two hours — it was terrible. The movie began late because the internet was slow.

My mom came home early because she finished work. She helped me get a new password for my email yesterday. Later, the delivery guy came with my pizza at 9 PM. At least the day ended with hot pizza!

The good news? The pizza was delicious. The bad news? I bit my tongue while eating it. Some days, you just can't win — but at least you can laugh.

Los bulos y las fake news en internet

 

Hoy en día hay mucha información falsa circulando en las redes sociales. Estos bulos pueden ser muy peligrosos porque engañan a muchas personas fácilmente.

Las fake news contienen mucho contenido engañoso. Por ejemplo, hay muchos artículos sin fuentes verificables y muchas noticias que parecen verdaderas, pero no lo son.

Para protegernos, debemos trabajar mucho en la verificación de los hechos. Es muy importante leer con cuidado y no compartir información dudosa. También es muy útil consultar fuentes oficiales.

Los bulos hacen muy mal a la sociedad porque generan confusión y miedo. Por eso, hay que informarse mucho antes de creer en algo que vemos en internet.

 

¿Por qué las personas crean y divulgan noticias falsas?

 

Hay muchas razones por las que alguien crea y comparte noticias falsas. A veces, la motivación es muy simple: ganar dinero. Los anuncios en internet pagan mucho por los clics, y los bulos atraen mucha atención rápidamente.

Otra razón es política. En campañas electorales, hay mucha desinformación. Algunos grupos crean muchos contenidos falsos para dañar a sus oponentes. Para ellos, ganar es muy importante, aunque mientan mucho.

También hay personas que divulgan bulos sin mala intención. Creen mucho en lo que comparten porque la noticia parece muy verdadera. No trabajan mucho en verificar los hechos, y terminan ayudando a que la mentira crezca.

Finalmente, algunas personas crean noticias falsas por diversión o venganza. Les parece muy gracioso ver cómo mucha gente reacciona sin pensar. Pero este juego hace mucho daño a la sociedad.

En resumen, las personas crean y divulgan noticias falsas por dinero, poder, falta de cuidado o maldad. Por eso es muy importante informarse mucho antes de compartir algo.
